AEM Experience Workspace: The Agentic Content Engine Explained
What if you could build a complete, on-brand landing page from one prompt, inside AEM? That’s one of the demos in our new Adobe Developers Live session, where my colleague Martin Buergi and I introduce AEM Experience Workspace. If you followed my posts on DA MCP or our Summit 2026 lab, this is where that work is heading.
What is Experience Workspace?
#It’s the agentic evolution of AEM: one platform where authors, developers and AI agents work on the same content. The visual editing is based on Universal Editor principles, so a lot of it will feel familiar.
What you’ll see in the video
#- Intro into Experience Workspace and why we are building it.
- Three views of one page: visual, raw content, and a split view that keeps both in sync.
- Live collaboration: you can see when a colleague is editing the page. You can also see when an AI agent is.
- An AI assistant that knows what you’ve selected and works with your brand guidelines and SEO requirements.
- Skills and MCP: products from Adobe Commerce to build a landing page from a single prompt.
Try it yourself
#In the second half I show how to get started. It’s pretty simple:
- Just for you: flip the Experience Workspace toggle in the top navigation. You can switch back anytime.
- For a whole site or org: run the setup wizard, or set
ew_enabled: truein your site configuration sheet. - Add skills: connect pre-built or your own skill repositories, for example from GitHub.
Experience Workspace is already in production with select customers, and GA is planned for late 2026.
So grab a coffee, watch the recording, and then try the toggle on your own site. I’d love to hear what you build with it. Thanks to Martin for the great collaboration and to the Developers Live channel for having us.
